CRAFTSMANSHIP AND HIGH-QUALITY
Our mission is to handcraft high-quality small batch spirits by using the latest distillation technology and paying attention to our packaging as well as by selecting the finest ingredients and botanicals, naturally favoring local producers.
OUR PACKAGING
What makes Heidell Distillery Company’s small batch spirits special? It’s all in the details! Our master distiller and skilled artisan Timo handcrafts everything from beginning to end to ensure premium quality.
All parts of the packaging are ordered from the EU: glass bottles from Germany and France, closures from Italy, and paper labels and seals from Finland. As our distillery is located in the Finnish archipelago, our product labels were inspired by the flag of Finland and the Finnish yacht club ensign. The batch number is always handwritten on all of our bottles.
OUR BOTANICALS
Heidell Gin and Heidell Navy Strength Gin are distilled with a carefully selected mix of 12 finest high-quality botanicals: juniper, coriander, angelica, cardamom, cinnamon, lemon peel, sea buckthorn, lingonberry, hazelnut, nutmeg, honey and sea salt.
It goes without saying that we always try to prefer and favor local producers and domestic botanicals. For example, we pick the lingonberries ourselves from the forest behind our home in Naantali and our dear family friend grows the sea buckthorn for us in her garden in Lieto. In addition, we get our honey from a local beekeeper Tarja Palomäki, Naantalin Hunaja.
