Our philosophy is to create modern, unique and environmentally friendly products by using the latest distillation technology and processes but also by honoring old traditions as well as the culture and lifestyle of the Finnish archipelago.
Our distillery
First and foremost, Heidell Distillery Company is a family company. Timo, our master distiller and CEO but also a navy officer and peacekeeping veteran, had an ambitious idea for his upcoming retirement – he wanted to create his own gin. With the help of his family, the journey of our distillery began in 2019.
As high-quality is our top priority, we use the latest distillation technology at our distillery. Our hyper-modern still, iStill Hybrid 500, guarantees precision, consistency and replicability in creating the best quality craft spirits.
Our hometown
Heidell Distillery Company is located in “the sunniest city in Finland”, Naantali. Our enchanting and picturesque hometown in the Finnish archipelago is known for its history as being one of the oldest towns in Finland but also for its beautiful and idyllic church, old town and president’s summer residence. We are very proud to call Naantali our home.
Our goal is to create spirits that honor our culture and lifestyle by the endless sea. Hence, we consider our products to be a nocturne for the Finnish Archipelago Sea and its maritime atmosphere.
